A child's green, mustard and creamy white plaid fabric dress from the 1890's. The fabric appears to be a factory homespun cloth. It is a cotton. A neat dress for a country-primitive collection or good example for costuming of the period.
Puffed sleeves with band around the edge matches the same band at the neckline. Gauge pleates secures the skirt to the inset waistband. No fastenings at the back of the dress, so it pinned closed. A cute dress in nice condition.
Measurements: 23" long from the neckline to the hem. 18-1/2" across the chest. 17" around the waist.
