A neat embossed tin wall hanging match safe or hair pin holder.  The tin back is embossed with figurals, such as a person, grist mill (or house), bird and possibly a dog.   Round mirror is fitted into a sleeve on the back. Great country primitive piece.

The holders on the front of the safe are ribbed to suggest they are strikers for a match.  Either way, a match safe or hair pin holder, its a nice piece of Americana. 

Size is 5" wide x 4-1/2" long.  Good patina to the tin with only a tiny bit of rust.  Mirror does show some silver lost, which is common.
