During the Victorian and early 1900's, many companies published children's storybooks, as a way of advertising their products. One such company was the Malena Co, Warriorsmark, Pa., the makers of Ma-Le-Na stomach liver pills.  

The Gatherings Antique Vintageis offering three children's booklets, sold as a lot, from this company. Each of the booklets are 5" x 6".  

First booklet is Queer Birds, 12 pages with 5 of them colored plates. The text includes story of several birds, as well as testimonal and advertising pages.  Condition is good with only a slight crease near the top edge of booklet on all pages. 

Second booklet is The Seasons, 12 pages with 4 of them colored plates. A short story of each of the seasons, as well as testimonal and advertising pages. Condition is good with some soiling to the cover. Nice inside pages. 

Third booklet is Pets, 8 pages with 4 of them colored plates. A short story of several different pets, as well as testimonal and advertising pages. Condition is fair on the cover with some paper loss and crease marks. Inside pages are nice.
