A late Victorian or early 1900's large linen centerpiece table doily.  Butterflies are embroidered to accent the edge of the scallop border.  The doily measures 34-1/2" in diameter.

It has been cleaned and pressed.  Although very nice I did notice several very small specks of blue on the linen.  Perhaps from a bluing product used long ago in laundering.
