Here you will find a sweet child's homespun dress bodice from the late Victorian - early 1900's. The bodice, I am sure, was part of a dress with the skirt removed at some time. Embellished with Pa. chicken scratch embroidery on the sleeves and down the front of dress. Blue and white woven braid edges the neckline and sleeve opening.
Buttons down the back with white china buttons. A cute country charmer for someone who does not mind a few imperfections.
Darling top but not without flaws. Three small holes near the underarm seam.
Measurements 9-3/4" long from the neckline to the hem. 7-1/2" across from shoulder to shoulder. 20" around the chest as well as the waist.
