For the paper fan or advertising collection, a wonderful early 1900's hand held cardboard and wooden stick fan.  The delightful fan features a lovely Victorian / Edwardian lass off to play a round of golf.  Dressed in her high necked dress, she holds a golf case under one arm and a couple of clubs in the other hand.  The color is a two-tone of a cream and gray.

Back of the fan advertising Friend Jones, North Jackson, Ohio.  Dealers in hardware, tinware, stoves, furniture, paints and oil.  Their specialty of American Buckeye fence.  Phone 5.

Measurement:  6-1/4" wide at the widest point, tapering to 4-1/4" wide.  Length, including the wooden stick, is 14" long.

Condition:  You will find flaws of some soiling, a shallow crease at the top, fading to the printing on the back side.  By no means minty but fantastic subject matter.  View the matching fan of girl with tennis racket.
