A sweet little girl style doll dress made of white Marquisette sheer dotted fabric.  It appears to be home sewn and dates from the 1930's, although the style is more of an earlier look.   Adorably made with a round neck line and lace filled yoke.  A wide gathered ruffle separates the yoke from the bodice.  Long gathered sleeves with a wide cuff made of lace.  The cuffs and the bodice are lined to give the dress more stability.  Inset waist band with an embellishment of two ribbon rosettes, in a light pink, on either side of the front waist.  The gathered skirt is full, ending at the hem in a wide ruffle flounce.  Back opening with three white buttons to fasten.  Snap at the waist.

The matching bonnet is equally as sweet as the dress.  Bonnet is made with two ruffles, one narrow and the other wider to frame the face.  The wider ruffle is edged with lace trim.  Crown of bonnet is shirred.  Light blue rayon satin ribbon for tying under the chin.

Measurement:  The length of the dress from shoulder to hem is 19-1/2" long.  5-1/2" across from shoulder to shoulder.  Chest is 16" around.  Waist is 16-1/2" around.  Sleeve length is 8-1/4" long.  4" around the opening of the cuff.

Condition:  Very nice except for a small amount of storage oxidation on the crown part of the bonnet.

Here's a sweet dress for a bisque or composition doll.
