A New England winter wool petticoat in a brown color dates from Victorian 1890's to early 1900's. The gored petticoat has a wide band of quilting at the bottom hem line. The quilting area is made of a glazed cotton with red top stitching forming the zig zag quilted pattern. Brown lining fabric forms the waistband. Button closes the back opening.
Condition of the petticoat is very nice. No holes in the wool that I found.
Measurements: Length of the petticoat is 34" long. Waist: 26" around.
