Hooray for the red, white and blue. This 1897 issue of The Ladies World magazine features a mother and her two children celebrating the 4th by lighting firecrackers. Little boy is waving a flag, while the little girl is covering her ears from the big bang. A box of fireworks sits on the front step of the porch.
