From the Art Nouveu period of the Edwardian era, a hand embroidered decorative pillow with a ring of irises. This charmer I think would fit with an Arts and Crafts style, too. Or even if you like to mixed styles.

The pillow is all original including the backing and filling. Size is 13" x 12". A ring of embroidered irises is the focal point of the front.

Cream colored cotton fabric with the iris outlined in pink/plum and gray colors. The leaves are factory tinted and outlined in a golden thread. The threads appears to be silk.

Backing fabric is a muslin. Filling possibly is a kapok.

Condition is very decent for the age (1910 or about) and as stated in the original condition.
