A very early vintage glass Christmas tree garland strand. The strand dates from the 1920's or possibly even earlier. If it means much, the strand was definitely used on a tree with candles as there is evidence of wax residue on some of the balls.
The center of the balls are a golden clear with smaller tubular shape ends in a solid gold. With the age, the glass of the balls do show some wear ~ patina, if you will.
Length of the garland is 107" long with the center of the glass balls measuring 5/8" in diameter. I found 4 broken glass balls that are still partially connected.
A wonderful piece of the past to use with other old tree ornaments on an old feather tree or tree of your choice.
