A lovely pair of 1920s flapper shoe stretcher forms. The pair are embellished with ribbon, rosettes and ecru lace. What could be more gorgeous? Although no indication of company, the stretchers have all the earmarks of the Boag Ribbon Company. The stretchers are 12" long from toe to heel x 1-1/2" wide at the width point. Pink silk rayon ribbon and ecru lace are gathered on each of the spring form stretcher. Embellished with ribbon rosettes and bows, they are quite beautiful. The wooden toes and heels surface are in a gold painted surface.
The stretchers appear never to have been use, however, the gold paint on both of the smaller ends have been chipped. The one worst than the other. Unfortunately. more than likely chipped in storage over the course of time. No other damage that I found.
