See what the Easter bunny brought Evelyn ~ a little candy container pull cart (more than likely filled with a candy treat). Dating from the 1920's or 1930's, this cute cart is made of an oval cardboard box with lift off lid.
The lid of the box is a reed like woven paper stained in a green color. Inside the top area is a fuzzy chick and dyed evergreen. It appears something is missing next to the chick. I am guessing perhaps another chick. The "box" sits on a wooden axle with painted red and green wheels. Piper cleaner or some type of fiber forms the handle or tongue of the cart. Inside the container is penciled the name Evelyn.
Although no markings, it is probably made in Japan.
Length of cart, including handle is 6-1/4" long. Cart, itself is 2-3/4" long. Height is 2-1/2" tall. Width is 3"wide.
Condition: As noted: A chick or something missing from top of lid. The woven reed is not perfect but good. Some loss of red paint on one of the wheels.
