A gorgeous vintage pair of  pillowcases.    The unused pair dates from the 1940's with a lovely crochet lace inset of lemon yellow and white crochet thread. On the front side three adjoining insets of crochet work are shaped in a triangle.  

Above the insets is a row of hemstitching. While on the back side a narrow edge of the same colors of thread edge the bottom of case.   Fabric is a nice quality of cotton and is in a tube shape.  Meaning there are no side seams.

Each case is 35" long x 21-1/2" wide.  Depth of the crochet work on the front is 5" from the point to edge.  Trim at the back is 3/4" wide.

The pair have never been used nor laundered.  Although clean you may find a a tiny amount of marks from storage and should be laundered to freshen.
