Three extraordinary hand made woven satin ribbon sachets. The sachets date from the later Victorian Edwardian era or possibly early 1920's. Each are hand made using two colored ribbons - two sachets are pink with white and the other blue with white.
There are two larger sachets and one smaller one. Interesting, from the aspect of no seams at the edges, I found the ribbons pass over each of the edges, in what appears continuous form. It is only at a few corners with bows, I noticed a few stitches to secure the weaving of the ribbon form. A cotton batting is used between the layer of ribbon.
The two larger sachets measure 3" square. The smaller one is 2-1/4" x 2-1/2". All appear to be unused. Very nice condition, although I noticed one small twist of ribbon on the larger pink and white. I believe a little fussing could straight this area.
