Fashions, needlework, ads and more, are featured in these four fun issues of Home Arts magazines.  Offered as a lot, the group include May 1937, August 1937, September 1937 and May 1938.  Two of the covers of sweet children are illustrated by Maud Tousey Fangel. ( May 1937 and May 1938).  

Content highlights are the latest fashion style for summer and fall.  Dresses for women and children, from fancy to daytime wear.  Needlework includes many sorts of stencil patterns which could be order, cute household linens, plus so adorable baby and children's things etc.  

Most pages in black and white print, but some with a one color overtone.  Crocheting and knitting patterns are represented ~ a Clark Gable style knitted polo shirt, complete with directions.  Wow! Just like the movie stars wore. Recipes from a time past?  Now these are good read. 

Great magazines for research or inspiration.  Maybe even try a recipe or two, then set your table with vintage linens for a supper affair. 

Condition of the magazines, May 1938 magazines complete including covers.  Decent pages with just the normal handling flaws.  Sept. 1937, missing back cover.  Loose front cover.  A couple small tears in border.  bottom of inside pages, some paper loss, but only at the bottom edge.  August 1937, loose front cover, missing back cover.  Only normal wear to the pages as one would expect.  May 1937 magazine complete with front and back cover.  Decent condition with the just usual handling.
