An old time match holder from the 1900's can still be useful today as they were in times gone by to hold matches for lighting candles.  Right at your finger tips next to the fireplace or on a bench, table or hung nearby to light all your scented candles.

This neat gilded paint tin hanging match safe is in a shape of an oak leaf mounted with an acorn. The acorn is open at the top to store the matches. A hole in the leaf for hanging. 

Size is 6-1/4" long from tip to tip. Widest point across is 3-1/4" wide.

Condition is very decent. A couple smalls chips in paint.
