There are those collectors that love to collect old advertising boxes, tins as well as assorted other type of advertising.  Many neat advertising notion boxes make a perfect choice to add to a collection of sewing items. The graphic of the empty Collingbourne's Mills box (which at one time contained 10 balls of Perle cotton) is a particularly interesting choice.

Dating from the early 1900s the graphics of the crochet thread box are done in a sepia tone of an Indian maiden holding a ball of Classic yarn. Text on the inside of the lid advertises other types of crochet thread. Also included is a short couple of paragraphs on the correct method of washing Art Needle Work.

Box measures 9-3/4" long x 4-5/8" wide x 2-1/4" high.

Condition is decent but not perfect as noted by the photographs below. Certainly would display very well.
