Here's an adorable little Victorian doll dress in a white cotton muslin and window pane fabric. Dating late Victorian. Made for a shoulder plate doll, the dress would be suitable for a china or paper mache.
Both hand stitching and machine construction. The dress features a wide gathered neck line and high bodice. Long sleeves gathered into a ruffle at the wrist. Gussets are set in on the lower part of skirt at the hemline. A nice little detail. Pins at the back opening. Dress appears to be a style worn in the early part of the 19th century although made much later.
Size: 12-1/4" long from the neck line to hem.Next line is 4" across (or 8" around, both front and back). Sleeve length: 3-1/8" long. 2-1/2" opening around the wrist. Bodice is 2" long. Skirt length is 10" long. 9-1/2" around the chest. Natural waist would beabout 10" around.
Condition is very nice. Very clean.
