A delightful vintage bib apron from the early part of the 1900's. Home sewn in that harder to find cadet blue calico fabric. A real treasure and cutely made with the fabric extending over the shoulders and buttoning with a pearl button at the back of the neck. Two slanted pockets sewn on either side of the body of the apron. Short string ties ties the waist band closed. The whole apron is outlined in white rick rack. A longer apron (47-1/2"long from the shoulder to hem) to cover the house dress of the early 1900's through the teens. Width across the shoulders is 21" across. Waist area is 28" to the ties.
Condition is very nice. Very clean, too. You may find a spot here or there but really didn't see anything. The only thing I noticed is a tiny area the rick rack has detached from the fabric. About 3" long and a few stitches would promptly fix. You will love this apron! Great for adding a bit of charm to a primitive , farmhouse, or cottage decorating.
