A beautiful all lace perlerine capelet collar dating from the Civil War to the 1880's Victorian period. A suitable collar perlerine for Reenactment or other period costuming. The perlerine is made of three different cotton laces, with two of them tambour embroidery.
One forms the pretty ruffle at the bottom edge. All pieces have been hand assembled with hand stitching. Ecru in color. A bit of oxidation from storage, however, only very slightly. Although no flaws that I found, you may find a pin point hole or two in the lace.
Measurements: 30" along the neck line. Width at center back is 6-1/2", narrowing to 3-1/2" wide, at either end.
