A delightful ephemera dance program from 1874 - 1875 Victorian era.  The lithograph covers of this antique program displays two young couples dressed in 1790's fashions, each are framed in an oval, with embossing of miniature flora and a scallop edging at the the outside.

There are 7 printed pages within the program.  Page 1. Opening Party of the Season, Lancaster Assembly, Stevens House, Thursday Evening, November 19, 1874.  Page 2 is a list of managers.  Page 3 is names of refreshment committee.  Page 4 is a list of floor managers. Pages 5 thru 7 are order of dances.

Size of the booklet is 2-5/8" wide x 4" long.

Condition:  As noted from the photo, the covers have breaks on the corners and slight wear on edge.  A small punch ring at the top of the booklet, more than likely held string to secure.  (no string). Someone,  long ago, used scotch tape, at this point, to hold the booklet together.  With the tape, the pages don't open correctly.  Inside pages are decent.

Still, it is wonderful to find 19th century paper items that do survive.

This items will be shipped first class letter mail with no tracking to keep shipping reasonable.
