The Gatherings is offering a hand embroidered on linen cloth picture frame from the early 1900's Edwardian era. Flora and dots gathered with a lavender ribbon surround the opening for the picture. Embroidered in the upper left corner are the letters B.P.O.E. (Elks Lodge) .
Photograph of a sweet young lady lends her charm to this beautiful frame. Front of the frame is of cloth mounted on a cardboard back. Brass easel for standing.
Frame measures 7-1/2" x 9-1/2". Width of the picture opening is 3-1/2" x 5".
Condition of the front is very nice. The cardboard backing does have some soiling and spots. A bend, also, at one of the corners which does not affect the front side in the least.
