Here's a sweet dress doll dress from the late Victorian or early 1900's Edwardian era. Made of white cotton gauze voile fabric, the dress is a long waist style. A wide ruffle separates the vertical tucks at the round neck line with the tucks below.
Below the ruffle, the tucks and gathers fall gracefully to the fitted waistband. Full gathered skirt features a wide tuck, trimmed in lace. Another one accents the hem line. Slightly full long sleeves with lace trim at the cuff.
Open back to below the waist. No fastening at the neck line or the waist A very cute dress.
Dress is 17" long from the neck line to the hem. 4-1/2"across from one shoulder to the other. Chest is 8" around. 9"around the waist. 5" long sleeve. 2-1/2"sleeve cuff completely around opening.
Condition is good with some small holes as would be expected. Back opening is torn beyond the opening seam about an inch. Not unusual to find.
