A lovely Point Venice (Venise) tablecloth of high quality workmanship. Bold and beautiful, this Point Venice tablecloth is from the early part of the 1900-1920s. Hand made in an oatmeal color thread, the Italian oblong cloth features two large rounds in the center. Each round is 13" in diameter filled with a large graceful flower. Button hole stitching, with a heavy outlining thread, connects the brides flowing to an inner border of large and small flora. These are set in half circles. The scallop border, at the edge of the cloth, is again covered in the needlelace flowers.
Size is 52" wide x 70" long
Tablecloth is just as found, meaning directly from an estate. It has not been laundered so you will find oxidation from storage. Plus there's a small amount of damage (see photos for details).
