Here's is an absolutely wonderful mammy face emery sewing pincushion from the early part of the 1900's - 1920's. This is an authentic antique, not a reproduction. Completely made of silk with hand painted face.  It is a hard cushion probably filled with a sand. 

Condition is very good.

Size is 1-1/4" in diameter x 3/4" tall.
