Well, here's a pair of Victorian, late 1890's or early 1900's, long stripe women's stockings made of cotton knit in a lively colors of green, blue, yellow and black. Narrow stripe of red and yellow are used as an accent. Pretty stockings were quite the fashion and this pair has been was worn and loved.
You will find a hole in both of the stocking toes as well as the heels. One heel has been mended, although not very well. Could the holes be mended? Of course, especially if you would know how to darn or even an expert with needle and thread. If not, they could certainly be enjoyed as they are and fun to own.
Length of the stockings are 29" long, from toe to top. Heel to toe is 8" long.
Condition as stated.
