Just charming and what child wouldn't look photogenic in this ruffled organdy bonnet. Dating from the early 1900's the bonnet has a narrow ruffle that frames the face plus the wider ruffle which gives further emphasis. The crown of the bonnet is made of circular rows of gathers.
Accented with silk bows and Valenciennes lace. The bonnet would probably fit an older child 1 to 2 years of age.
Measurements: 12-1/2" from side to side along the face and 8-3/4" along the neckline from side to side.
Condition: Very nice. A slight shredding to the silk bows is the only imperfection I noticed. Many of our items are more than suitable for childrens re-enactment or renaissance accessories.
