From long ago, a piece of ephemera, a simple, but lovely wedding invitation of 1893. Printed on heavy card, the invitation request the presence, at the wedding of Mary Gallup to Jefferson Baker at 5:00 o'clock, Bellevue, Ohio. (So interesting to note, no street address).
Someone, so lovingly, tucked the invitation away, all to be forgotten, with most history lost, except the names upon the card.
The card with envelope is 3-3/8" x 4-1/2".
Condition is good. Tiny yellowing and soiling to outside envelope.
This item will be shipped first class letter post in the US only.
