An antique 19th Century one piece mold shaped spoon for molding butter.  The size of the ball of the spoon would be between a teaspoon and tablespoon, by today's measurement.  The entire bowl of the spoon is carved with diagonal lines to decorate the butter when it is removed from the mold.  It has a long shaped handle with a hole at the one end for hanging.  Probably machine carved although I don't know for certain.

Measurement:  5-1/4"  long x 1-1/8"  wide across the bowl of spoon. Width of handle near the top is 3/4"  wide.  Depth of the bowl is 1/2" deep.  No finish to the wood ~ rather a dry patina.

Condition:  A tiny split on the back of bowl and a tiny one on the front of handle, through the hole for hanging.  Both of these splits are superficial occurring only on the surface.
