From yesterday's past, a collection of printed name / calling cards from the year 1917.  A remembrance of a high school graduation (Class of 1917) tucked inside a small box.  There are 38 name cards.  Only one is  printed with an address of Phillisburg, N.Y.  More than likely, all cards came from this general New York area.  A couple of the cards have a hand written message of congratulations to the recipient.  All cards are plain white stock with only a printed name.  Calling cards are in good condition.

All cards were stored inside a paper covered box with a scene of a faraway village in the background.  Tree, bridge and creek in the foreground.  Paper condition of the box is not the best, as it does have paper loss.  Just the right size box to store the treasure trove of calling cards though.

A keepsake piece of ephemera.
