Oh my gosh! Look at this napkin yardage! From the early part of the 1900's, Edwardian era, a set of 12 uncut double damask linen napkins in the most gorgeous poppy flower pattern. Although the partial label is gone, very likely Irish linen. The poppies surround the outside border of the napkin. Small center section is plain linen. Uncut the dinner napkins measure 22" square but would need to be hemmed on two sides. Therefore, hemmed, the finish size would be less than 22". The other two sides are selvage edges.
Condition is unused and very nice, except for the exposed couple of wraps which are wrinkled and slightly soiled.
Finished the napkins would make a breathtaking table setting. Or perhaps, think out of the box , using this incredible yardage in a different decorating manner. Creative inspiration starts with imagination.
