Oh, here's a little cutey parasol from the early 1900's, Victorian or Edwardian era. The red cotton muslin would fit nicely with a doll display or great with a Patriotic 4th of July setting. The true red of the parasol fabric is so perfect for a red, white and blue color scheme. Whatever your choice, this is a fun item from the past.
The simple tapered natural wood handle is in its original finish. The cotton fabric of the parasol is accented with a ruffle around the top and a wider one bordering the edge. The fabric is attached to a black metal framework. A working parasol with opening and closing freely.
Length when closed is 25" long. Opened it is 23" in diameter.
Condition is good. Maybe a pin hole or two in the fabric.
