A great piece of fine muslin remnant fabric from the early 19th Century. About 1840 - 1850 era. I believe it was once an apron as there are tiny hand stitches at the one side of fabric. The other side is the selvage edge. At the top of fabric, there is a detectable stitching line, indicating a waist band at one time. An attached ruffle at the hem line.
Size is 24" wide x 26" long. The fabric would make a wonderful study piece of historical fabrics from the period. It is being sold "as found" which also includes oxidation from storage.
