Waste not! This little boy's blue and white homespun shirt reflects the saying. Dating from the late 19th century, the shirt buttons down the front with white china buttons. White flannel fabric lines the chest and upper back area, more than likely for added warmth.
Lovingly worn and expertly patched with a different blue fabric on the back of the sleeves. Hand and treadle machine sewing. Button holes are done by hand.
Size: Would fit a child about 6 to 8 years old. Length of the shirt from neck line to hem is 16-1/2" long. Width across the shoulders 11". Chest is 30" around.
Condition: Endearing...what more can I say. If you love fade, a few holes and mends, this shirt would be just for you. It will fit with a primitive past.
