For your country farm house, a sweet original pillow in chicken scratch embroidery. This blue gingham check fabric features a pair of doves, one with outstretched wings, facing each other.  A row of embroidery frames the doves.  Ruffle and backing of the pillow is made of a soft blue fabric.  This old pillow is stuffed with either kapok or very soft feathers. 

Size of the pillow is 15" square, including the 1-3/4" wide ruffle.  The pillow has a time-worn patina which would fit well with a country home.  As noted the pillow has faded over time, especially the blue of the ruffle.  Also note, a couple stitches missing from the neck of one Dove and a few in the border embroidery.  Another stitch is missing from the tail feather of the other dove, causing a small hole.

This would be a wonderful cushion for a small chair or a floppy pillow for your favorite compy space.
