Here is a small size china powder jar from the late Edwardian - 1920's era. Inside opening of jar is of brass, as is the catch. I especially love the detailing to the lady on the lid, with her chiseled nose and "Clara Bow" lips.
Even her jewels have a slight raise surface, so when rubbing your hand across, it can be felt. A small puff is still intact inside. A charming addition to any collection or to accent a vanity.
The size of the powder jar is 2-5/8" in diameter. Diameter of the lid is 2-1/4". Height of the jar is 1-1/2" tall. Very nice condition.
