A lovely pair of unused white cotton eyelet embroidery and tuckwork pillowcases from the late Victorian, early 1900's. Lovely for a Victorian or romantic shabby chic home decor. The eyelet fabric is a batiste.
Possibly sewn at home, the cases are stitched with white eyelet, including seven rows of tucks, to white cotton sheeting.
Extra long, each case is 40" x 24" wide. The eyelet section is 12-1/4" in width.
Condition is unused and never laundered. You will find a tad of oxidation but only a small amount. With laundering, the pair would be beautiful.
