Trinket, jewelry and other boxes were a part of an Edwardian era lady's dresser or vanity. A place to store, organize and to always find those treasures which are so much a part of life. This trinket box dates from the middle teens into the early 1920's.
It is a box made of cardboard with a lid covered in floral fabric. A ribbon bow and small fabric flower gives the final embellishment. The sides of the box are a silver embossed leaf design. The bottom of the box is scalloped to match the edge of the lid. Four small wooden feet finishes the box.
The size of the trinket box is 5" square x 2-1/4" tall. Condition is good with only normal usage through the years. A tiny bit of bends and dings to the cardboard scallop edging. However, this is relatively minor. As you will also notice, some soiling to the inside of box.
Add a vintage trinket box to a collection or a fun accessory for home decor.
