Now,  these old pair of children's stockings will invoke a kindred spirit.  Time-worn and handmade, the primitive socks will surely be loved.  Looking at the stockings, I believe the cream wool was salvaged from a larger pair of stockings. Cut down and stitched to fit a baby's feet.  Back of the seam and the foot area are home sewn

 These sweet socks are 15" in length from toe to the top.   Toe to heel is 3-5/8" in length.

Condition as you notice, shows the ravages of time but isn't that part of what makes them so special?  Certainly OOAK.  Wonderful for a primitive setting.
