Here's a unique early 1900s Crochet instruction book by Emma Farnes. No date, but about 1915. The 15 page book shows variations for the making of the Antique Design or Spider stitch crochet. This often seen stitch is incorporated in many crochet patterns with this book giving exclusive directions.
The book has 32 different patterns, including the making of corners, insertion and edging trims, plus yokes for camisoles. All pages in black and white.
Size of the book is 8" x 11".
Condition: Although complete with no missing pages, the book does have tape on the spline. At one time, the pages must have been loose, as page 3 and 4 are in the back of book now, instead of the order they should be in. However, I think the information the book provides out weighs the order of pages. Of course, my opinion.
