A beautiful estate find from a local family.  The Gatherings is pleased to offer this knotted darn lace.  Dates from the early part of the 1900's - 1920's Chinese influence, machine made. Color is an off white or ivory. 

This gorgeous lace is 7 yards 20" long x 8-3/8" wide.  It is an impressive lace, both in yardage as well as design. A bold pattern as you note from the photos.

The size of the center circular motifs are 4-3/4" diameter, to give you an idea of the scale.  Straight edges along the top and bottom of the yardage. Thread appears to be cotton.    Neither of the two ends are finished, including the motif on each end.  

Condition is very nice, unused.
