It is a wonderful book with detailed photographs of each sample. Some photographs in color. Not only a great how-to book but a great resource for studying the names of laces and embroidery patterns.
It is a soft bound book with covers of a red leatherette. No torn or damaged pages that I seen. A pencil diagram on the inside cover page. Probably drawn by the owner of the book. Front cover has one tiny tear about 3/8" long at the edge. Otherwise just normal handling wear. I would consider it a nice book.
