For the love of old tin ware, The Gatherings is offering this early primitive tin shaker with punched bottom.  The container is lidded for storing or shaking contents.  Long rolled and soldered handle for easy gripping.  The handle is made like a rolled tube, open on the end.  Container is also rolled and seamed with solder at the handle.

Shaker base is also from a piece of tin, fitted and solder, as is the lid.  The lid is made in two pieces, the top and a band fitting around the top.  The two pieces then solder and seamed.

Great old patina with a few dings and dents.   The lid is stuck....has been for years, so never tried to remove it.  I always loved and collected tin.  This was one of the first pieces I purchase about 50 years ago...oh my, where did the years go? I hope someone will love it as much as I have.

Size of this 19th century piece is  4-1/2" diameter.  5" tall.   Length of handle is 5-3/4" long.
