Old photographs of school children provide an incite into life in another time. This one is no exception and I find the more I study it the more clues it provides. Dating it from the early 1920's, it seems there are classrooms of different ages. The younger children are in the first couple of rows with the older in the back couple rows. Looking at the photo carefully, I believe the teacher may be in the center as it appears an older person. It seems to be a younger man at the back on the end. Perhaps a teacher also. Of course, the adorable little kids in the front row brings a smile. Most of the boys in britches and most all the children have long stockings. Did you count the ties and suit jackets? Even one boy looks to be wearing suspenders. Many girls with bobbed hair. One with pigtails. One child with eye glasses.
No mention of where the photograph was taken. Condition of the photograph is very nice. Size is 8" x 10" heavy card.
