Nine issues of Ladies World magazines from the year 1898.  The lot includes the months January, February, May, June, August, September, October, November and December.

The cover for February is illustrated for Valentine day with the love of cupids. June's feature is the graduated in cap and gown.  What could be more fun than at the seashore for the August issue.  If your heart is for travel, then the September cover would be the ticket, with the woman setting off on a journey or maybe arriving home?  Now you can just smell that delicious turkey being served on the November issue.  Of course, the December issue is decorating the Christmas tree.  This issue is neat with each month featured in small ovals around the edge of the tree trimming print.

The contents of each magazine has a page or two of women and children fashion, needlework, household hints, plenty of stories and articles plus the advertisements!  A fun look at the past.

Condition of all the magazines have some damage.  Some more than others, partially loose covers, tears on some and more on others. I only noticed one magazine having something cut from page.  Even though the condition is as is, the lot still  good and offers fun reading.
