Three graduated sizes of antique brass scoops. The scoops were used in a general store for measuring. Such as one scoop of flour or sugar. Very nicely made. Each scoop has a partial slanted bottom towards the front of scoop.
The remaining back portion would set flat keeping the product from spilling. Each handle is rolled with the end closed with a cap. The scoops have tarnished with age.
So to clean or not to clean. As you noticed the largest scoop around the handle at back has quite a bit of solder - repair or just more reinforced because of the size? Nothing on the inside of scoop to suggest a repair. I will leave to you to decide.
The smallest scoop is 8" long from front to back, including the handle. It is 3-1/2" at the widest point. Height is 1-7/8". Middle scoop is 9" long, from front to back, including the handle. 4" wide at the widest point. Height is 2" tall at the back. The largest is 11-1/2" long, including the handle. Width at the widest point is 4-7/8". Height is 2-1/2" tall.
Condition as note: tarnished with soldering on the larger one. A small dent of handle on the smaller one and larger one. Regarding the type of usage they would have received, they are actually decent shape.
