From years past, a group of Ladies World Magazines, giving a fun insight on what was popular in 1899.  There are 8 magazines in the lot.   Featuring the months of April, May, June, July, August, September, October. and November.    The covers are neat, with rainy April bringing the spring and summer flowers of May and June.  July's cover is fireworks with a woman covering her ears from the bang.  August, September and October covers are boating, tennis and automobiling.  Last but not least November and Thanksgiving turkeys.  Only one colored page in one of the magazines, the rest are black and white.

The usual ads, stories and articles fill the pages.  Each one has a needlecraft page and each has one or two pages of fashion, both women and children.  See photos of some of these pages.

Condition.  All have some flaws but not everyone has the same flaw, such as a partial loose page, a tear or bends, spotting (again see photos). For the age and the content of the paper, I would say decent condition.  Still how wonderful to find eight in the same year from so long ago.
