Here's a cute pair of women's bloomers from the Victorian, early 1900's era.  A small size with buttons fastening the waist band on either side.  Wide cotton ruffle trimmed in lace embellishes each leg opening. 

There are tucks on the waist band, both front and back where the garment was taken in to fit a smaller woman. Closed crotch. 

Waistband, as it measures, is 24"around.   Length of the bloomers from the waist to hem is 22-1/2" long.  Hip area is about 38".  Length from the center back to the middle of crotch is 15-1/2" long.

Worn but very nice.  Freshly cleaned.
