A nice all original lady's bonnet from the 1870's Victorian era. Suitable for a larger doll, costuming or display. Made on a wire frame the center of the bonnet is made of natural straw in a curlicue design.
Purple fabric flowers covered in black tulle edges the natural straw. Silk velvet ribbons in a green-gray cast are also original to the bonnet. Inside is lined in black polished cotton.
Size of the bonnet is 5-3/4" long from the center, at the bottom to the top point. Width across the bottom edge of bonnet is 8" wide. Ribbon ties measure 28" long x 5/8" wide.
Condition is very nice, especially for the age. About the only thing I notice, is a slight tear in one of the ribbons ties.
